Yoshimune, a deluxe version of the Dobari Shinai, features thicker and more rounded bamboo staves thus providing the feeling of “more impact per hit”. In addition, Yoshimune’s center of gravity is located closer towards the user than other conventional shinais, thus, allowing for greater control and quicker response.
