Texture with a touch of Silk!
A Jidai style iaito featuring frosted silver accessories! This iaito is also considered as a popular model in the jidai series. The Nanako-Ji tsuba, typical of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, features an intricate, yet simple, speckled pattern, surrounding the flat black centre. In contrast to the subtle Jidai theme, a silver Karashishi (character) menuki is placed over black ray skin, and wrapped with 100% silk in black or brown. The silver Jidai ishime (matte texture) adds balance to the sparkling silver and dark furnishing. In keeping with the dark colour scheme; one may choose from three saya, all of which include hitodome - kuroro (glossy black), kuro-ishime (matte black) or cha-ishime (matte brown). The toshin features either suguha or suguha-gunome (signature hamon).

Metal-cast Flex Resistant Heavy Zinc Aluminum Alloy Blade
The toshin width is thicker than the conventional sand-casted blade, it is much heavier at approximately 880g(2.45 shaku). The thick blade enables production of longer lengths in blade without increasing chances of breakage.
